The following rules: (Bookmaker Operational Rules, Racing and Betting Rules, Totalisator Operational Rules), and any other rules and notices approved by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board, are available on request or for download by clicking on this link.

All winnings in respect of any bet must be claimed within ninety (90) days of the determination of the outcome of such bet.

The rules below are derived from the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board (WCGRB) Bookmaker Operation Rules. If there is any contradiction between our rules and those of the WCGRB or if the application of the WCGRB rules would be more favourable to the customer, the rules of the WCGRB will be applied.

Postponed or Abandoned Games

Bets on any game that is abandoned before starting, or is postponed for more than 24 hours after the originally advertised starting time, or where there is a change of venue, will be refunded. Please refer to the individual bet rules for games that are abandoned after the start.

Results and Payouts

We will result all bets as soon as the official result is known. If an incorrect result is given or entered into our system we reserve the right, within 3 days, tochange the result and adjust all payouts accordingly. No adjustments will be made to winning or losing bets after 3 days. Please refer to the individual bet rules used to determine the result of a bet.

Cricket

Limited Overs Match Betting
You bet on the winner of a limited overs cricket match. We will pay out on the official winner, according to the competition rules. There may be variationsin these rules between different competitions.

All bets on abandoned games, where no official winner is declared, will be refunded.

In the event of a tie where the competition rules allow for a match result based on a super over, bowl out, or any other tie break mechanism, we will settle bets on the result of the tie break mechanism.

In the event of a tie where the competition rules do not allow for a tie break mechanism we will refund all bets.

Test Match Betting
You bet on the result of a test match. Both teams and the draw are quoted. We will pay out on the official winner or draw, according to the rules of testmatch cricket.

In the event of a tie we will apply dead heat rules, i.e. both sides receive 50% of the payout. All draw bets are losers.

Next Man Out
You bet on which batsman in a partnership will lose his wicket first. All bets will be refunded if neither batsman loses his wicket or if one of the batsmen retires hurt.

Top Batsmen/Bowler
You bet on which batsman will score the most runs or which bowler will take the most wickets. Bets on any player not in the starting eleven will berefunded.

Correct Score Series Betting
All correct score series bets are refunded if the stipulated number of matches is not played.

First Innings Total Runs

You bet on a team to score under or over a set number of runs in their first innings.

In a limited overs match all bets will be void if the scheduled number of overs is reduced.

If the scheduled number of overs is reduced, and the team returns to bat for the reduced number of overs, a new market may be offered on the first innings runs for the reduce number of overs. Bets on this market will be void if there is a further reduction in the scheduled number of overs. All bets will be settled on the actual first innings score and not on any adjusted Duckworth-Lewis target set for the team batting second.

In test matches all first innings total runs bets will be void if the batting team does not complete its innings, i.e. the batting team must declare or be bowled out. Batsmen who retire and do not return to bat are considered out.

Rugby

Unless otherwise stipulated, the result of any rugby bet is determined at the end of normal playing time, including injury time, but excluding any extra time.

Match Betting
You bet on the result of a match. Both teams and the draw are quoted. If the match is abandoned before full time all bets are refunded.

Handicap Betting
You bet on the result of a match after adjusting for the handicap. If the handicap is a whole number then both teams and the draw are quoted. If thehandicap is not a whole number then only the two teams are quoted. If the match is abandoned before full time all bets are refunded.

You can calculate the result of a handicap bet by adding the handicap to the team’s score.

Soccer

Unless otherwise stipulated, the result of any soccer bet is determined at the end of normal playing time, including injury time, but excluding any extra time.

Match Betting
You bet on the result of a match. Both teams and the draw are quoted. If the match is abandoned before full time all bets are refunded.

You can calculate the result of a handicap bet by adding the handicap to the team’s score.

First Goal Scorer
You bet on a player to score the 1st goal in a match. Own goals do not count.

If the match is abandoned before full time and no goal has been scored, all bets are refunded. All bets stand if a goal has been scored.

All bets on selections who do not take the field or who take the field after the 1st goal has been score will be refunded.

Last Goal Scorer
You bet on a player to score the last goal in a match. Own goals do not count.

If the match is abandoned before full time all bets are refunded.

All bets on selections who do not take the field or who take the field after the 1st goal has been score will be refunded.

Correct Score
You bet on the correct score at full time. If the match is abandoned before full time all bets are refunded.

Half Time – Full Time Double
You bet on the result of the match at half and full time. If the match is abandoned before full time all bets are refunded.

Golf

Unless otherwise determined, bets on players who do not tee off in the first round of a tournament, or the round for which they have been quoted, will be refunded.

Tournament or Championship Winner
You bet on a player to win a tournament or championship. The winner is determined by official tournament rules, including playoffs and any special scoring systems. Dead heat rules are applied to place bets.

Match, Group and 3 Ball Bets
All bets on a match, group or 3 ball are refunded if any player fails to tee off in the quoted round.

If a player withdraws after teeing off then he is deemed to be the loser, provided at least one of his opponents in the bet completes the round in which the withdrawal took place.

If all players withdraw before completing the designated round or rounds then all bets will be refunded.

If one player in a tournament match bet misses the cut then his opponent is deemed the winner. If both players miss the cut then the player with the lowestscore or the tie will be deemed the winner.

Results of all match, group or 3 ball bets will be determined according to the official tournament scoring rules. Where a tie is offered as a winning possibility it will be quoted.

Tennis

Match Bets
You bet on the winner of a match. If a player withdraws from a match or is disqualified before the match has started, all bets will be refunded.

Correct Set Score
You bet on the winner and final score, in sets, of the match. If a player withdraws from the match or is disqualified, before the match has been completed,all bets will be refunded.

American Football

Match Bets

You bet on the winner of the match. The score at the end of play, including overtime, will be taken as the result.

Point Spread

You bet on the result of a match after adjusting for the point spread or handicap. If the point spread is a whole number and no tie is quoted then bets are refunded for a tie on the point spread. The score at the end of play, including overtime, will be taken as the result. If the match is abandoned before full time all bets are refunded.
